You can configure it as per your preferences. It supports joysticks and keyboard mapping. There are loads of excellent video tutorials and detailed compilation guides that will help you with the installation process. In the case of Windows, RetroArch has support even for Windows 95 but, who uses that now? It is a dinosaur! I mean extinct!.You can get a complete list of the supported devices from the download link I provided below. It supports Windows, Mac, Apple TV, iOS, Android, Raspberry Pi, Linux, various gaming consoles, etc. It is free to use and there are no malware or other harmful programs hidden in it.Who knows? You may just get addicted to games meant for other consoles. If you install this thing, you can give other console games.
Having said that, I will also like to reiterate the fact that RetroArch can support way more of games compared to any standalone emulator. While it may sound interesting, getting this thing up and running is a tedious process and if you want to play on PS2 games, going for a standalone emulator makes more sense.
